If you guys at Evo keep running into difficulties with putting the winning photos into the game, and if the next two DLC packs aren't free, could the winners recieve a promotional code(s) to get both DLC packs for free?

Also I was looking at the winners page again and the pictures are no longer there. What's going on?

i still havnt and i was wondering what we won? The photos still arnt on the winners page although they are on flikr.

I haven't been contacted regarding my winning photo either, I hope it's because they are too busy trying to fix the problems they created with the last update.

I think they will only contact people when they know for sure what the prize will be - before they were saying our pics would be on the load screens then they had to retract, so they don't want to have to do that again. They may still be trying to get them on the load screens after all, who knows?

Anyway, I think we should just be patient, whatever the prize is it won't be that huge or anything, it's not like they're gonna send us all to a tropical island for real to take pictures is it, hehe... (hint hint EVO lol!)

Hi everyone, we're aware that the winners of this competition haven't been notified yet, but we will make sure that they are contacted as soon as possible.

As for the prizes: the development team have managed to get a select few photos into the game (in the new Competition Winners Gallery in the Garage), and also into an exclusive XMB Theme which is going to be released on the PlayStation Store, too! All of the details will be announced on VIP.MotorStorm.com shortly, and the winners will be contacted (as above) as soon as possible.

lol I've had a ton of friend requests snce the theme came out. I'm famous!

On another note, sad to see the Big Rig crashing through the tower in the theme, that was my favourite picture of them all, also don't know how the buggy on the beach didn't get a gold.

Ah, I didn't know the pictures in the theme and those in the in-game gallery would be the same, that explains why all my favs were in the theme then. Just a bit confusing having a silver medal-type-thing in the corner, made me think those in the game would be golds.

btw Evo did say there would only be 12 pics selected for the gallery, that should not have been a surprise with the download of the update.

Evo said that 12 of the winning photos would be in an exclusive XMB theme. Evo said nothing about only 12 of the winning photos being in the in-game winners gallery.

Wow, I'm starting to feel like I'm going to be ripped off again soon. I was announced as a winner, but I wasn't put into the game as I was earlier promised, haven't been contacted yet, and another winner that whose picture was put in the game has been contacted.

Makes me feel like I'm not going to be rewarded with anything I was promised. Evo, can you please put some input on this? I'm trying to be optimistic, but things just seem to be going downhill with this contest.

The original terms and conditions for the "Looking Good" Photo Competition stated that the winning images would be considered for use in the game in a future update, as we could not guarentee that all 40 photos would be featured in-game. The remaining photos will still be considered for use in any further updates to MotorStorm Pacific Rift, but unfortunately we can not guarentee that they will be included. 

Every winner will, however, receive a prize for winning the competition. All of the relevant details will be explained in the message you will receive from the PlayStation Competitions team, and will then be announced on VIP.MotorStorm.com too. I will do everything I can to ensure that the winners are contacted as soon as possible.

I'm trying to be patient and all, but does it really take over a month just to contact the winners? I'm using an example here.

The Uncharted 2 Schwag Bag Contest started around early June, after this photo competition ended. There were 300 winners of this contest, and the majority of them have already been contacted for their shipping information, and the majority already have their prizes.

This photo competition started way back in mid-March. Few people have been contacted and nobody has recieved their prize. The thing about this competition is that there are only 40 winners, compared to the U2 schwag bag contest where there were 7.5 more people to contact and ship prizes to (and all of the winners' photos of this photo competition should have been put into the game after the latest update. The fact that only 12 of the 40 winners were put into the contest gallery makes it seem like there were only 12 winners, which there weren't).

I'm trying to be patient here, but it seems hard to when the people running this competition seem to have abandoned it. This thread isn't even stickied anymore.

I'm with you on this one Jak.

It does seem more than a little aggravating that not only do we get nothing for winning in terms of having anything whatsoever in game (except if you're one of the chosen 12 - why only 12 by the way?  Do 40 photos put an extra strain on the servers ), but we also get no contact or prize from Evo - despite being told we would.

I'd like to remind them what they say in this website, about it being dedicated to our VIP motorstormers - is this how you treat your VIP's?  I'd hate to be an enemy
