House Rules

Welcome to the PlayStation Community Forums!

These Forums are all about fun and sharing information, but we do have a few ground rules to ensure that visitors aren't insulted, offended or the victims of mass unsolicited spam advertising.

These Forums are used by people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities and experience, so please bear in mind the following rules:
  • Do not use swearing or strong language in your posts or attempt to sidestep the swear filters.
  • Do not create topics or posts that criticise, bully or insult other forum members, and do not flame (e.g. provoke other forum members into arguments) or impersonate other people. If you wish to make a complaint against another forum member, please use the "Report Abuse to a Moderator" button or by sending an email to community.admin@scee.net.
  • Don't post anything that could be perceived as objectionable or offensive (i.e. racist, pornographic, sexist, obscene, profane, vulgar, derogatory, hateful, or threatening).
  • Spamming is not permitted, although high forum use is fine as long as you are sensible.
  • Do not post chain letters, solicitations, pyramid schemes and advertisements. If you wish to promote your website, please restrict this to a discrete link in your forum signature rather than creating new topics just for the exposure.
  • Do not post messages which support or condone any illegal activities, such as drug use, piracy, warez, and chipping.
  • Do not post anything that could be considered libelous or defamatory.
  • Please don't post any copyright material on the Forum, with the exception of material that SCEE hold the copyright to. Basically, this means that posting wholesale from published books, magazines, game guides etc. is a no no, as it could land you (and us) in it.
  • NEVER give out personal details such as your surname, postal address or phone number in the Forums, and keep your personally identifiable information private. This is for your own safety and protection as this information could easily be misused by other people browsing the Forums.
  • Our Moderators will remove irresponsibly posted images.
 
Please note that these rules apply to all usernames, images, text and links posted on the PlayStation Community Forums.

If you break the rules of conduct, either intentionally or by accident, we will either edit or remove your post. Persistent or excessive misconduct may result in a temporary or even permanent suspension of your ability to post to the Forums.

You can help us keep the Forum a friendly place by reporting abuse and spamming by using the "Report Abuse to a Moderator" button or by sending an email to community.admin@scee.net.

And because these Rules can’t cover everything, we also reserve the right to remove any content or suspend your account without prior notice and at our discretion.
